Very tall mahogany grandfather clock featuring a hand painted face, tiger maple veneer, and flame mahogany veneer. Clock has a shaped crest with four finials. The side mechanism access panels are glass. The front door is framed by columns and tiger maple veneer. The face of the clock has been hand painted in oil and the painted conch shells in the corners gold leafed. The clock hour and minute hands are handmade. The lower door has a brass inlaid keyhole and is being held shut with a bit of duct tape. Clock back features prominent square nails. No pendulum or weights. Clock face has cracks and chips but body appears to be in good overall condition. 99" H (8'3"H) 20" W, 11" D
